Boyd Exell recommends this bit to encourage the horse to take the contact.
Key Features
The Liverpool BE Military is a slightly lighter cheekpiece.
The Bombers Control Plate is set at 45° to follow the contour of the horses tongue. Best suits a horse that accepts tongue pressure.
Cheekpiece
The Liverpool BE Military RT cheekpiece has the shank set slightly further back, this stops the horse from being able to grab the shank. It will also reduce the amount of pressure created by the shank as there is less distance for it to travel. The BE Military RT is available with 2 or 3 slots to allow more options for increasing/decreasing pressure. The cheekpiece is not fixed and is able to rotate.
Mouthpiece
For the horse that shakes its head up when in a snaffle. Recommended over the elliptical as the control plate offers a larger surface area for the pressure to be distributed over.
