I play Polocrosse on Zuma and Meow, have fun at home on Chispita, and I am bringing Pedro on to be an allrounder.
I welcomed Zuma (Zoom at home!) to the family in August 2020. He is an 8 year old Argentine Polo Pony x Thoroughbred by Crafty Politician. I got him from World Cup Player, Jason Webb, so he had played some A grade. After having him for almost a year, we have developed together, and he has even taken me into my first C Grade season.
Meow came a little more recently. In early April 2021, I was offered Meow and simply could not say no. She is a pocket rocket of a mare and I have played her in C Grade and Open Juniors in the last 3 months. She even won Best Horse in our first tournament together! I am really looking forward to doing more with Meow in the future!
I have owned Chispita for 3 years. She is a 17 year old Irish Thoroughbred mare who played in the 2011 Polocrosse World Cup! She came to me so she could step down from the A grade into the Juniors. She has taught me so much and I have taught her to Jump more recently too. I really enjoy riding Cheese, and to look back on everything we have achieved feels amazing!
Pedro is a Four Year old Australian Stockhorse x by Stonebrook Finno. I got Pedro in October 2019 as a 2 year old and I have bought him on to be an honest, willing and mature little gelding. Recently, we have stick and balled, hacked, jumped (only tiny!) and done some polework and he shows promise in all disciplines! I can’t wait to get him out on the Polocrosse pitch in years to come!
Discipline: Polocrosse at C Grade Level. I also recently got selected to represent England again in the Pony Club Polocrosse Four Nations 2021. I am looking forward to the competition this July!
In my spare time, I also show jump Chispita at home.
