The BT Hackamore is our most advanced cam style mechanical hackamore. It allows adjustment of how quickly it responds by adding or removing screws from the cam. 

The BT Hackamore has been designed in such a way that it can be used in conjunction with a bit in a double bridle type setup.

The BT is a cam style hackamore. It allows for 4 settings: 

• Screw A + B + C in place will ensure the quickest application of nose pressure.
• Remove A, leaving B + C, will allow more rein to be drawn before the noseband is in contact. 
• Remove A + B, leaving C, will allow even more rein to be drawn before the noseband is in contact. 
• Removing A + B + C, will allow the noseband to move independently of the shanks, removing nose pressure.

The BT is supplied with a choice of two nosebands:

• PVC tube – a more concentrated pressure to bring the nose in. 
• Leather – a softer and broader surface area, rewarding a good head carriage.

The BT is supplied with a choice of two back straps, each with two positions: 

• Leather back strap, position A is stronger than C.
• Stainless steel curb chain, position B is stronger than D

The curved shank provides 2 rein settings.
