Key Features
The Drop Cheek Lite has been designed to accommodate a swivel mouth piece. Horses that have a short mouth, often have prominent molars lower down, many cheek pieces will rub the cheeks over the molars. The Drop Cheek lite has the mouth piece positioned higher on the cheek piece, allowing the top ring to sit further down. The top ring is also able to be bent out more than standard to accommodate the molars
The Elliptical is stronger than the Control Plate due to it concentrating pressure onto a smaller surface area. This bit will suit a horse that pushes the bit with its tongue. The horse will lower its head and tuck its chin in, finding a better balance of control.
Mouthpiece
Bomber recommends this conventional mouthpiece for both schooling and competition, it applies sharper pressure than the plate to the tongue and similar pressure to the bar, bringing the head down.
The nylon composite material is light in the mouth and encourages salivation. It is particularly well suited to horses that object to metal mouth pieces.
At the foundation is a stainless-steel spine around which the Bomber Blue nylon material is injection moulded, providing a smooth sleek profile where the non-metal material lines up with the steel elements, giving an overall ergonomic shape that sits comfortably in the horse’s mouth without any unnecessary pressure points. Winner of the BETA 2024 New Product Award.
