The Polo Todd Weston Spur

Bombers Equestrian Equipment - Polo Wideband - Todd Weston The Polo Spur features a broad or narrow band of stainless steel with hinged studs where the single straps are attatched. With this fitting the leather strap is fastened over the top of the foot and the steel spur sits behind the heel. The result of this is that spur will take contact on upward movements and fold up on downward movements to avoid contact, which can help if a rider is moving a lot in the saddle reaching for balls or riding off.

The Todd Weston is a unique spur designed with rotating balls to prevent the spur from cutting or breaking the skin which can happen with traditional rowels.

The Single leather strap secures onto the hinged buttons on either side of the spur. It fastens over the top of the boot.

The majority of Bombers Polocrosse spurs come in the conventional Double Strap. Two buttons on each side, holding a leather strap that runs over the front and bottom of the boot. You can also choose to have a  Single Strap over the top, or a new innovation to Bombers spurs, the Ledge Heel which fits securely between the sole and heel of the boot.

The Sidewinder is most common in polocrosse, although the following are also options: Goose Neck , Hammer, Impulse Shank, Schooling, Sidewinder, Straight Shank , Vertical Shank .

The latest addition to Bombers spurs is the Todd Weston rowel which ensures your horse does not bleed, although the majority of spurs can be made to accommodate the following rowels: 10 Star, 8 Star, 4 Leaf Clover , Round RowelTodd Weston (in decreasing severity)
