The Ledge Long Shank Todd Weston Spur
This fitting has a Ledge that protudes inwards towards the heel, desgined to fit into the gap where the heel and boot are stitched together. This is intended keep the spur in a fixed postion while riding.
The Todd Weston is a unique spur designed with rotating balls to prevent the spur from cutting or breaking the skin which can happen with traditional rowels.
The Single leather strap secures onto the hinged buttons on either side of the spur. It fastens over the top of the boot.
The Sidewinder is most common in polocrosse, although the following are also options: Goose Neck , Hammer, Impulse Shank, Schooling, Sidewinder, Straight Shank , Vertical Shank .
The latest addition to Bombers spurs is the Todd Weston rowel which ensures your horse does not bleed, although the majority of spurs can be made to accommodate the following rowels: 10 Star, 8 Star, 4 Leaf Clover , Round Rowel , Todd Weston (in decreasing severity)
