2½ Ring Chainlink
The Chain Link is a unique developement from Bombers and an addition to our extensive bitting range.
This versatile bit can be flipped and used either way with the uneven edge providing a stronger bit and the smoother curved edge creating a softer more forgiving bit. Great bit for the experienced rider.
Do not be deceived by the appearance of this bit, it will wrap around the contours of the mouth and tongue creating a greater surface area spreading the pressure evenly
A Ring cheekpiece introduces poll pressure as well creating leverage on the mouthpiece, the 2 ½ ring version is the softest version of ring bit as the ½ ring softens the leverage on the mouthpiece and poll.
All our bits are made from blue sweet iron, because it:
- oxidises easily
- encourages salivation
- helps bit acceptance
- is warm and sweet
Please note the blue will fade with use.
