Western Grazing Shank with Roller
The grazing shanks are turned back nearly 45 degrees, originally to allow the horse to graze while wearing a curb bit. This design modifies the leverage action so the horse tends to travel with its nose in front of the vertical.
The Roller mouthpeice with the double break will remove the nutcracker effect of the traditional snaffle and sit in the middle of the tongue which will give the horse something to play with as well as control when the rein is taken up
All our bits are made from blue sweet iron, because it:
- oxidises easily
- encourages salivation
- helps bit acceptance
- is warm and sweet
Please note the blue will fade with use.
Trust Bombers blue sweet iron bits!
