The Loose Ring Gavin Cocker

Very similar to our Snaffle the Gavin Cocker    is made using a hinge joint in the middle rather than a ring joint.

  The Ledge CG Spur

Introducing the all new CG rowel and shank , this Australian inspired combination will give the rider a slightly stronger action with the rowel, whilst the new shape is similar to the sidewinder in that it will keep the rowel in contact without having to turn the heel in. Great new spur.

Racing Ringbit

The Racing Ringbit is curved spreading the pressure evenly reducing the nutcracker action and pinching of the tongue. The offset link removes the pressure point on the tongue. This all combines to produce a more comfortable bit that does not pinch.

Do note the unique centre support ring. This is a Bomber innovation. It prevents the tongue from being caught between the snaffle and the ring.

We use sweet iron for all our mouth pieces and stainless steel for the cheek pieces and rings, making them durable and tough.

The Sara Grills Joint

The Sara Grills Joint is of Australian origin and is another fantastic addition to our arsenal.

It is shorter at 40mm increasing bar pressure.  The vertical edge of the center ring conects directly with the tongue increasing tongue pressure. Together making the bit stronger than the Elliptical or Control Plate which is a nice option to have when schooling.

The Buster Roller

The Buster Roller is a great bit for schooling, the link in the middle is shortened to 40mm increasing bar and tongue pressure making the bit sharper than conventional link bits. Best suited for a horse with a low head carriage and which leans on the bit. 

The increased pressure on the bar will lift the head and the roller on the tongue will increase pressure bringing the head down

The Petros Roller Mouthpiece

The Petros Roller : is another innovation from bombers following the idea of our Cherry Roller this bit has a rotating cylinder on the shaft part of the mouthpeice this acts as a preventative measure for a horse that really takes hold of or leans on the bit pictured right with a Control Plate link.

The Todd Weston Spur

The all new Todd Weston is a unique spur designed to prevent the spur from cutting or breaking the skin which can happen with more traditionall rowels when they jam up.

The balls are outside the shank rather than inside which prevents debri inhibiting the roller, they are shaped like a ball which is less likely to cut or break the skin.

The Chain Link

The Chain Link is  a  unique development from Bombers and an addition to our extensive bitting range.

This versatile bit can be flipped and used either way with the uneven edge providing a  stronger bit and the smoother curved edge creating a softer more forgiving bit. Great bit for the experienced rider.

Do not be deceived by the appearance of this bit, it will wrap around the contours of the mouth and tongue creating a greater surface area spreading the pressure evenly.
