Kimblewick Bomber Blue

Bombers Equestrian Equipment - Kimblesick Bomber BlueA unique bit which produces amazing results for the majority of horses.

Ported for tongue relief and very light, can be made with your choice of cheek piece.

As with the Pelham, the action of the Kimblewick is dependent upon the position of the riders hands.

RH Mullen

Bombers Equestrian Equipment - RH MullenThis cheekpiece will create slight pressure on the cheek created by the design of the bridle attatchment whilst the extra rings will give the rider the option for a bit more leverage on the bit whilst at the same time introduce slight poll pressure

The mullen is a strong bit which creates direct pressure on the tongue which will in turn create direct pressure on the bars. Used for a strong older horse and will also bring the head down.

Williams Control Plate

This cheekpiece assists with the flexing of the head while the center bar creates more positive poll pressure.

The Bombers Control Plate is set at 45° to follow the contour of the horses tongue. Consequently, a horse who uses his tongue as a means of pushing against the bit, to take control, will draw it back and tuck the chin in, coming back to a better point of control. This differs from a Dr Bristol which sits horizontally with the edge of the plate on the tongue.

Williams Colin Miles

This cheekpiece assists with the flexing of the head while the center bar creates more positive poll pressure.

The Colin Miles is a great schooling bit with a 55mm centre piece creating greater tongue pressure. The rings give the horse something to play with and help keep the horses attention on the bit.

This particular joint exerts more pressure than the Control Plate or Elliptical."

Williams Happy Tongue

This cheekpiece assists with the flexing of the head while the center bar creates more positive poll pressure.

A horse shaking its head when bit pressure is applied or its tongue trying to escape the bit are classic signs the horse has a sensitive tongue. With this in mind the happy tongue was created, it has a medium port creating space for the tongue, relieving pressure, allowing the horse to relax.

Williams Buster Roller

Bombers Equestrian Equipment - Williams Buster RollerThis cheekpiece assists with the flexing of the head while the center bar creates more positive poll pressure.

The Buster Roller is a great bit for schooling, the link in the middle is shortened to 40mm increasing bar and tongue pressure making the bit sharper than conventional link bits. Best suited for a horse with a low head carriage and which leans on the bit.  The increased pressure on the bar will lift the head and the roller will increase pressure on the tongue bringing the chin in.
