Bombers Bits: Bomber has a tried and tested technique for bitting horses that he has developed over the course of his polocrosse career, his bits are now currently being used by the upper echelon of showjumping in Europe and are extremely popluar and widely regarded, our unique style of hand made manufacturing and hands on develpement has lead to providing biting solutions that no other bit manufacturer can.

Bombers Story: Bomber Nel started playing polocrosse at the age of 9 at Umvuma Club in Rhodesia.

During the 70's in Rhodesia he played for Queens Polocrosse club and as a result of the shortage of equestrian equipment available in the country he started making a variety of saddlery items and eventually supplied the Greys Scouts Mounted unit of the Rhodesian Army with Maclenan saddles.

He then moved with his young family to Pietermaritzburg in South Africa and in 1979 he began making polocrosse racquets to suit special requirements. This hobby has gradually grown to become Bombers Equestrian Equipment where Bomber sources materials and products, and designs custom-made equipment to meet demand.

Bombers equipment is made under his personal supervision and only items which pass his strict quality control reach the market-place.
